Bruce Michels - Founder, brings more than 18 years of experience in business and 16 years of experience as a consultant to the mission and philosophy of Management Skills, LLC. Bruce has served as President/Chief Operating Officer of The Lucks Company; Vice President of Alexander Hutton, Inc. where he was responsible for the Alexander Hutton Consulting Group; Senior Manager for Moss Adams Business Organization, Planning and Practice Group; and as Senior Vice President for Management Advisory Services, Inc. where he consulted directly with National Office Products Association, Architectural Woodwork Institute as well as with corporate clients such as Milliken, Exxon, and Babson Bros.

With more than 200 consulting engagements under his belt, Bruce's business expertise ranges from sales to international operations, start-ups to mature companies. His clients include Continental Mills, Lindal Cedar Homes, PSF Industries, Pacific Market International, and Planned Parenthood of Seattle. Bruce is a published author and has been a guest speaker at the Seattle Industrial Rotary, Seattle Chamber of Commerce Roundtables, National Office Products Association, and National Association of Nurserymen. He has delivered lectures and led seminars for a number of clients including National Business Forms Association, Architectural Woodwork Institute, and Miller Brewing Company. His professional affiliations include Seattle Rotary; Presidents Club, Seattle Chamber of Commerce; American Management Association; American Marketing Association; and the Board of Directors, Washington International Trade Fair. He is a Certified Management Consultant. Bruce attended St. Johns University and received his B.S. from the University of Minnesota. Bruce holds a M.B.A. from the University of Washington. He is a Captain, US Naval Reserve (retired).
